CrossFit, an industrial strength workout originally created in Australia, designed to get people physically and mentally fit, has taken the planet by storm. It looks as though it may be here to stay, and not just a fad. That would be just fine for those who want to combat the population’s obesity and lack of motivation.
Not deemed a specialized fitness program but rather an attempt to optimize physical competence, CrossFit Western Sydney focuses on each of the ten recognized fitness domains. They include cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.
Whether you hate it or love it, this program is intense and not for the weak at heart. It’s so intense that CrossFit Western Sydney, also known as Sydney crossfit has spawned the sports event called The CrossFit Games, which focuses on four days of running, swimming, handstand pushups, jumping, and 70kg overhead squats.
Still CrossFit Western Sydney remains largely an underground workout program that encompasses gymnastics, weightlifting and throwing, metabolic conditioning and interval training. Designed in 2000 by Greg Glassman, Crossfit sydney has become a lesser known community of people interested in getting fit, with intensity. Workouts for Crossfit Western Sydney are varied and often short. Some last a few minutes while others can last up to half an hour. And though it’s an intense workout, those who do it with regularity are not tanned muscleheads, nor are they wilting flowers. They are ripped, toned and in shape and they all share the same goal. Get fit and stay fit.
The military, along with some police academies, has even adopted use of the core training program to help get staff prepared for real life situations that require sharp minds and physically fit bodies.
And while CrossFit Western Sydney and Crossfit parramatta is hardcore, it is not exclusive by any means. Men, women and teens can benefit from the principles of this exercise program. Some have the goal of losing weight, while others just want to build strength. It’s perfect for people of all ages and walks of life.
So get with the program. The Crossfit Western Sydney program. Learn how to get in shape, stay in shape and enjoy the ride as you get there. There has never been a better time to try CrossFit and push your body to the limit.
